Biological Agent

Currently, there is a single Biological Agent Briefing Product. For a viable live biological agent (bacteria or a virus), the contours depict areas of varying infection levels in the exposed population resulting from inhalation of the airborne plume. If the material is a bio-toxin (a biologically produced chemical), the contours depict areas of potentially life-threatening air concentration levels. The agent and toxin levels shown are based on health-related information published by the World Health Organization and the U.S. Department of Defense.
